He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl VanSickle and Pauline VanSickle (Higgs); and his sister Edith. He is survived by: his children, Angie Shugars (Dave), Beth Sanders (Rich) and Bryan VanSickle; his grandchildren, Ashley Brooks (Steven), Savannah Griffin (Tim), Alexes Sanders (Alvey Starkey), Kaitlyn Evin (Jacob), Jayson Sanders and Julia Sanders (Chase Haver); his great grandchild Emery Brooks; and his friend Bill Casteel.
