He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Rogers and Gertrude Dennis Rogers; his wife Elva Rogers; and his brothers, Richard and John Rogers.

He is survived by : his children, Richard Rogers (Carla), Jim Rogers (Debbie), David Rogers (Penny) and Lisa Bowie (Paul); his grandchildren, Krista Edgar (Jeremy), Amanda Hadley (Jesse), Logan Bowie (Kayla), Eric Rogers and Travis Rogers (Elisha); his great grandchildren, Addison, Luke Edgar, Paisley, Marshall Hadley, Brooks, Slade Bowie, Riley and Cole Rogers; and his sisters, Mary Bennett, Sue Farnsworth and Nancy Hines. He is also survived by several niece and nephews.
