She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford James Simmons and Frances Lee Simmons (Gibson); and her husband Harold Ray Carpenter. She is survived by: her sisters, Evelyn Gear of Diamond, OH, Charlotte Simmons of Newton Falls and Charlene Simmons; her brother-in-law Bruce Bruner of Newton Falls; and her siblings, Dolores, Donnie Peterson of Newton Falls and Rodney Simmons of Newton Falls. She is also survived by 4 nieces and 5 nephews.
