He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Hicks and Daisy Hicks (Dunbar); and his wife Joyce E. Hicks (Curtis). He is survived by: his grandsons, Michael Baird, Jr. (Miranda), Martin Baird and Max Baird.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (2640 S Canal St, Newton Falls, OH 44444). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
