She was predeceased by: her parents, Alden E. Cook and Bessie W. Cook (Boyd); her daughter Ronda Lynn Bailey; and her siblings, Lucy Cook, Vernie Cook, Hattie Bailey, Alonzo, Monroe, Paul, James, Lawrence, Odell, Ranel and Bobby Lee.

She is survived by: her husband Shade R. Bailey; her daughters, Karen (Joseph Leopardi), Mary (Clint Thompson), Shalene (Joseph Mennett) and Darlene Bailey of Grove City, OH; her grandchildren, RaeLynn, Joshua Leopardi, Noah Thompson and Nathan Mennett; and her great grandchildren, Taylen, Lily, Charlotte (Lottie), Maverick, Raegan and Cade.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the James Funeral Home (8 E Broad St, Newton Falls, OH 44444). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
