She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley E. and Mary L. Doud (Gipe); her husband David J. Hissong; and her brother Charles Doud. She is survived by: her children, Dawn Lillard (Allison) of Matthews, NC., Dave Hissong (Lupe) of Ney and Dan Hissong (Kim) of Hicksville; and her grandchildren, Danielle Chilcote (Andrew), Michael Hissong (Catie), Jason Hissong, Mark Krumm, Tracy Strarhsburg (James) and David Hissong (Anna). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to Ney United Methodist Church, or to Sherwood Methodist Church.
