Bertha Eloise Carpenter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Eloise Carpenter (Niles, Ohio), born in Olive Hill, Kentucky, who passed away on June 25, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Richards and Gertrude Richards (Bocook); her husbands, Herbert Crank Sr. and Leroy Carpenter; her sons, Donald Ray Crank, Charles Edward Crank and Herbert Crank Jr.; her stepsons, Bobby Carpenter and Jackie Carpenter; and her grandsons, Brian, Brad and Curtis Crank.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Gadd Sr. (Donald) and Linda Wilkes of Howland; her stepdaughter Donna Jean Mayer (Don) of Cortland; her sister Betty Bailey of Hitchins; and her grandchildren, Donald Gadd Jr., Tammy Gadd, Jimmy Pappada, Amber Thompson, Charles Crank Jr., Hazie Crank, Angel Crank, Dustin Crank, Michelle Crank, Chris Smith and Bernie Smith. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church (3101 Deforest Rd SE, Warren, OH 44484). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
