Betty leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Betty’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Betty will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ellison and Anna Mae Ellison; her husband John T. Stephens; her siblings, Delores Dawson, John Ellison and Ephiram Ellison; and her grandson Shane Stephens.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Stephens (Janine) of Girard, Glenn Stephens (Lisa) of Warren and Veronica Stephens of Columbus; and her sister Shirley Billings of Niles. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valley Missionary Baptist Church (405 Depot St, Niles, OH 44446). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
