He was predeceased by: his father Coy Nelson Swiger Sr.; and his grandson Elijah Coy Swiger. He is survived by: his mother Thayla "Sue" Swiger (Pollock); his children, Justin Swiger, Elizabeth Penezich, Danielle Swiger, Jessica Reitz, Chas Hoover, Hope Hoover and Christopher Hoover; and his fiancée Mary Ann Reitz. He is also survived by eight sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
