Flenner and Mary Julia Flenner (Prater); his wife Emma "Jake" VanKirk; his children, Mary Jane Markovich (Tom) of Niles and Cecil Flenner of Niles; his grandsons, Daniel Markovich, Jonathan Markovich (Brianna Owoc), Michael Krummell (Allison) and Derek Crislip (Rebecca); his sisters, Wilma Demastus of New York, Bernadine Robinson (Bill Nix) of Texas and Sondra Behmer (Ed) of Alabama; his pets, Shelby, Rosa, Clifford and Jaxson; his daughter Betty Marie Flenner; his daughter-in-law Debra K. Flenner; and his close friend Howard Smith. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
