He is survived by: his son Herbert (Bertha Eloise Richards Crank Sr.); his close friend Diana Thomas; his mother Bertha E. Carpenter of Niles; his daughter Hazie Crank of Niles; his sisters, Linda Wilkes of Howland and Kathy (Donald Gadd Sr.); and his daughter-in-law Cheryl Crank of Niles. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
