He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Cowles and Helen Cowles (McConnell); and his grandson Foster Jesse Cowles III. He is survived by: his sons, Foster Cowles Jr. (Poppy) of Weathersfield Twsp and Jeffrey R. Cowles (Jackie) of Weathersfield Twsp; his grandchildren, Justyn, Lindey, Ashley, Ember, Tyler, Brock, Riley and Delaney; his great grandchildren, Malakai, Julian, Zoey, Brennan, Auburn, Lincoln and Nora; and his former wife Lynne Cowles of Warren.
