He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Montgomery and Geraldine Wilt Montgomery; and his brother Robert Lewis. He is survived by: his stepfather Elmer "Elsie" Lewis; his children, Jerry, Teresa VanDyke (Bill), Jason Montgomery (Kim) and Bret Montgomery; and his sister Connie Martin (Don). He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
