He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Heltzel and Mary Jane Heltzel Sr. (Hazzard); and his brothers, Mark E. Heltzel, Paul E. Heltzel, Robert E. Heltzel Jr. and Carl C. Heltzel.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Heltzel and Grace Heltzel; his siblings, Mary Jo Richards (Ken) of Geneva and Michael Heltzel (Barb) of South Euclid; and his sisters-in-law, Rosemary Heltzel, Heidi Heltzel and Judi Heltzel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
