He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Stabile and Anna Stabile (Scaduto); his wife Barbara Ann Griffiths Stabile; and his siblings, Leroy Stabile, Joseph Stabile and Rose Mary Mullins.

He is survived by: his children, Vicki Hockensmith (Jack) of Girard and Tom Stabile of Cherry Log, Georgia; his grandchildren, Megan Kotuba (Walter), Gretchen Mahan (Andrew), Nick Brumwell (Nicki), Seth Stabile and Amy Parks (Todd); and his great grandchildren, Chase, Colton and June.
