He is survived by: his wife Monica H. Rozbitsky Scherich; his children, P. J. and Izzy; and his siblings, Ronald Scherich (Valerie) of Niles, Tammy Scherich and Joetta Scherich of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.
