He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Merwin and Eleanor Stevenson Merwin. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Merwin, Jessica Cueva of Boardman, OH and Cassandra Cueva (Christopher Conley) of Austin, TX; his sisters, Cheryl Randall of Southington, OH and Vicky Smith of Niles; his grandchildren, Jacob and Joey; his nieces and nephews, Shelby, Travis of Shana, JB and Justin; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brian, Jayden, Ella, Dalton, Dakota, Zoey and Xavier.
