Upshaw of Houston, TX.; and his siblings, Charles Upshaw of Illinois, Isaiah Upshaw of Indiana, Samuel Upshaw Sr. (Evangeline) of Tennessee, Lee O'Neil Upshaw Sr. (Irene) of Tennessee, Lenora Gathering of Tennessee and Elvin Upshaw of Tennessee.
