He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Pauline Sheetz; his grandparents, Frank and Mary Catherine McNeal Marcella; his uncle George; his aunt Edith Compton; his sisters, Mary Jane Whitacre (David) and Frances Paugh of Niles; and his nieces and nephews, David Lee Whitacre (Chris) of Georgia, John Whitacre (Jessica) of Warren, Lillian Whitacre (Tom) of Warren and Bridget Whitacre (Robert) of Niles.
