As Allen departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Allen may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Allen leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Carl McGillvary and Beryl McGillvary (Spangler); his former wife Wilma Kiel (Smith); his wife Alice Oliver; his son Jeffrey A. McGillvary; and his sister Elaine Harris.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Anderson (Conrad H.) of Davison, MI; and his grandchildren, Conrad A. Anderson (April) and Brittany Anderson. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; several step-children.
