She was predeceased by : her parents, James Burk and Velma Burk (Rasmussen). She is survived by : her sons, Dameion Cortez (Michelle) of Findlay and Lucus Cortez (Adrienne) of Toledo; her siblings, James Burk of Hammansburg, Michael Burk of Toledo, Diane Alverez (Jesse) of Bradner and Becky Buchanan (Curt) of Hammansburg; and her grandchildren, Maxwell, Simona, Drake, Adrienne, Aiden and Mason.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Smith-Crates Funeral Home (515 N Main St, North Baltimore, OH 45872). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
