She was predeceased by: her husband George William "Bill" Sommer; her daughter Sherry Johnson (Don); her parents, Barbara Weisbrodt and Albert Weisbrodt; and her brother Jack.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Sedgebeer (late Paul), Stacy Schmidt and Bill Sommer; her grandchildren, Michael Sedgebeer (Kristin), Steve Schmidt (Cassie), Cindy Lotscher (Adam), Clay Sommer, Lauren Sommer and Jocelyn Sommer; her great grandchildren, Summit Sedgebeer, Curtis, Adrienne, Franklin Lotscher and Landen Barlag; and her siblings, Shirley, Norman and Thelma.
