The memory of Eleanor D. Pope of North Bend, Ohio, who passed away on July 12, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband James M. "Mick" Pope; her parents, Dolores Pope (Schwandner) and Earl Pope; and her brothers, Edwin and John Pope.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Hornsby (Ray), Deborah Charlson (Charlie), Christina Sutton and Mark Pope; her grandchildren, Dr. Katherine Callahan (Mike), Michael Hornsby (Melissa) and Melinda D'Ippolito (Nick); her great grandchildren, Rylie, Brayden Hughes, Liam, Olivia Callahan, Shelby, Michael, John and Dorothy Hornsby; and her brother-in-law Walter "Shorty" Pope. She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dennis George Funeral Home (44 S Miami Ave, Cleves, OH 45002). A Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (25 E Harrison Ave, North Bend, OH 45052).
