She was predeceased by: her husband Edward A. Kemen; her grandson Nicolas Kemen; her parent Jewell Barnes; and her sister Audrey Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Robers (Jeff), Thomas Kemen (Marcia) and Richard Kemen (Carol); her grandchildren, Jason Robers (Evelyn), Mandy Christy (Scott), Tim Kemen (AnaCecilia), Katie Kemen, Andrew Kemen (Holly), Rebecca Dotson (Alex) and Marc Kemen (Julia); and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Abigail, Lucy, Rex, Andrew, Annabeth, Ellarose and Juliana James.
