With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul William Bates (North Benton, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bates and Kathleen Bates (Schaaf); his brother Robert Bates Jr.; and his niece Kathy Hawley (Bates). He is survived by: his wife Maeo Bates (Saelow); his children, Kim Evans (Bryan) and Mark Bates (Jessica); and his grandchildren, Lydia, Grace, John Bates, Ava, Kolt and Ethan Evans. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
