He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Vogel and Cherry Vogel (Crooks); and his sister-in-law Frances Vogel. He is survived by: his wife Jeri Vogel (Fife); his sons, John Vogel (Audrey) of North Fairfield, Carl Vogel (Georgia) of North Fairfield and Mike Vogel of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Kyle Vogel (Julie), Emiley Uselton (Alex), Issac Kehres, Hali Horning (Jordan), Hannah Dotson (Noah) and Maddie Dendinger (Issaic); his great grandchildren, Landon, Sophia, Frank, Brooks and Zella; his brother Greg Vogel of Alabama; his sister-in-law Deedra Fife; and his sibling's child Triton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
