He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Stevens and Frieda Stevens (Ballentine); and his siblings, Nancy Myers and Ralph Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Alberta Stevens (Strickland); his children, Randy Stevens (Terri), Jerry Stevens (Connie), Karen Steele, Mark Stevens (Shari) and Dawn Pannell (Keith); his grandchildren, Mark Stevens, Jr., Marlo Stevens, Richard Stevens, Suzan Evans and Ariel Pannell; and his siblings, Pat Hite, Bonnie Burkhart and Roger Stevens. He is also survived by six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lawrenceville Church of God (3131 Fox Hollow Rd, Springfield, OH 45502). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Terre Haute Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Roy's memory to the Lawrenceville Church of God, 3131Fox Hollow Road, Springfield, OH 45502 or to the Pike Township Fire Department, 8440 Troy Road, New Carlisle, OH 45344.
