She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gibson and Hazel Brewer Gibson; and her brother John Gibson. She is survived by: her husband Gerald McElhaney; her children, Julie McElhaney of Chardon and Trent McElhaney (Liliana) of Solon; her grandson Alexandru Allen McElhaney; and her brother Daniel Gibson (Janice) of Alliance.
