He was predeceased by: his father Robert A. Ensign; his grandparents, Wilbur Dean, Betty Jane Ensign of Canfield and Elizabeth "Oma" Sadinsky of Youngstown; and his uncles, Russell Lee Ensign and Timothy Dean Ensign.
He is survived by: his mother Karin W. Ensign of Austintown; his sister Erika Hinkle (Scott) of North Jackson; his nephew Devin; his brother Robert W. Ensign of Newark; his uncle David Ensign (Tanya Meeks-Ensign); and his cousins, Michelle Cope, Deny and Judy Keslar. He is also survived by cousins, extended family members and lifelong family friends.
In lieu of flowers, Michael's family suggests memorial contributions be made to an animal charity of the donor's choice.
