We bid farewell to Gareth Lamar Baer (North Lima, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 30, 2025 at the age of 62. Gareth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Baer and Effie Baer (Ropp); and his brother-in-law Gerald Witmer. He is survived by: his wife Karla Baer (Strite); his children, Lauren Mueller (Jason) of Halstead, KS, Landon Baer (Kenzie) of Owasso, OK and Logan Baer of North Lima, OH; his grandchildren, Bennett, Sawyer Mueller and Isaac Baer; and his siblings, Gloria Wilson (Ed) of New Springfield, Marlene Witmer of Chickamauga, GA and Arnie Baer (Dawn) of LaGrange, KY.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the North Lima Mennonite Church (90 Mennonite Dr, North Lima, OH 44452). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
