It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph P. Sposato of North Lima, Ohio, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Sposato and Rosaria Gabriele Sposato; his brothers, Dino, Ralph and Anthony Sposato; and his granddaughter Dr. Kylee M. Dawson.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Lucy DiVincenzo Sposato; and his children, John Sposato (Rhonda) of Jacksonville, FL, Carol Dawson (John) of Columbiana, Marie Underwood (Mike) of Columbiana and Janice Stephenson (Jack) of Columbiana. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home (28 N Main St, Columbiana, OH 44408). A Mass will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Jude Parish (180 7th St, Columbiana, OH 44408).
