She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Shives and Elizabeth Martin Shives; and her siblings, Wanda Treboni, Betty Brown, Joseph Shives, Theodore "Ted" Shives, William Shives and Harold Shives.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Ann Koporc of Streetsboro and John Paul Gordon II (Mary Kay) of Fowler; and her siblings, Alfred Shives, Iris Evans and Judy Davidson. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home (407 W Liberty St, Hubbard, OH 44425). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
