He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Vitaz and Katheryn Vitaz; and his siblings, Pamela Vitaz, Bradley Vitaz and Bruce Vitaz.

He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Vitaz; his children, Hank, Tracy, Kelly and Tiffany; and his brother Barry Vitaz (Jill).
