“Dear Ann, Sharon, Theresa and families, Sharon’s call Saturday hit me very hard. Don and I had been texting back and forth almost every day since early December. We talked a lot about his infection. When he went into the hospital, I was worried but he seemed to get better. When he stopped texting back I was worried but I imagined he was busy getting better. Don and I were the longest of college friends. I am truly sorry. Sincerely, Other Don”
