With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edward Laird Balas of North Olmsted, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Balas and Edward J. Balas; his wife Leona Balas; and his sister Claire Balas. He is survived by: his children, Jodi Stover (Jeffry), Lisa Balas, Gary Balas (Kim) and Sandra Rosenblum (late David); and his brother Robert Balas.
