He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schmidt and Jane Schmidt; and his wife Mary Elaine Schmidt. He is survived by: his children, Bobby Schmidt (Kelly) and Kim Balas (Gary); his brothers, Tod Schmidt (Virginia) and Paul Schmidt; and his sister-in-law Flo.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral & Cremation Services (6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral and Cremation Services (6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Park.
