He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell A. Mettler and Mary D. Elliott; and his brother Wayne Mettler. He is survived by: his wife Janice Mettler; his children, Mark Mettler (Jody Kiss) and Karen Struhar (Mark); his grandchildren, John Kiss (Tori), Lauren Rush (Tyler), Joseph Struhar, Ryan Struhar and Kaylee Struhar; his great grandchild Henry Joseph Kiss; and his siblings, Connie Mikuluk and Daryl Mettler.
