She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha McCrudden and Arthur McCrudden; her husband William R. Caldwell; her children, Eric Caldwell, Aaron Caldwell and Christian Caldwell (Anita); and her siblings, Terry McCrudden (Delores) and Eileen Ricci (Orlando).
She is survived by: her children, Robin Caldwell, Amy DeAngelis (Larry), Jennifer Zemba (Bruce), Lori Kapustik (Michael) and Clay Caldwell; and her sister Patricia Dwyer (Michael).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joan's honor to the Lorain Public Library, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
