She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Jimmy (Nancy), Jeff (late Michele), Jerry (Sandra), Jenny (Bob Wypasek), Jill, Jack and Jace (Amy); her grandchildren, Stacey, Kristy, Rachel, Sean, Bobby, Matthew, Emily and Jake; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, Christian, Seanna, Zac, Hunter, Bryan, Emma, Silas, Wesley, Carson, Walker and Samuel; her brother John F. Gorsek (late Dorothy); and her husband James N. Cifranic.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Chapel (6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Funeral & Cremation Services (6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070).

In lieu flowers, donations may be made in Joan's memory to a charity of the donors choice.
