He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Joan; his children, Brigid Kimbrell, Timothy and Patrick; his grandchildren, Mairead, Aoife and Emmet; his parents, Mary Hayes and John Hayes; and his siblings, Bill (Cheri), John (Marilyn), Pat (Sharon), Jim (Lucy) and Kevin (Jodi).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Homes (29150 Lorain Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070).

In lieu of flowers, in honor of Mike, the family requests for you to offer a Mass in his honor or do a random act of kindness in his memory.
