He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Pier and Lester Pier. He is survived by: his wife Alice (Schwind); his children, Jim and Shannon (Steve Pfeiffer); his grandsons, Connor and Tyler; his stepdaughter Charlene Campanella (Stephen); and his sister Judy Gallagher (late Jim).
