She was predeceased by: her parents, Erich Lange and Irene Lange; and her sibling Dabar Hoorelbeke. She is survived by: her partner Janet Mauro; her sister Regina Safarz; her brother-in-law Peter Hoorelbeke; her nieces and nephews, Jason Safarz (late Michelle), Eric Safarz, Blake Maser (Keith), Casey Hoorelbeke (Kayla) and Jesse Hoorelbeke; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Caroline, Austin, Jameson, Coraline and Kellan.

In honor of her compassion for animals, donations may be made to the Northeast Ohio SPCA Pet Shelter.
