She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband William E. "Bill" Detmar; her children, Mike (Jennifer) and Beth; her grandchildren, Willow and Nick; and her siblings, Janice Donnelly and Lorrie Knipper.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Brendan Church (4242 Brendan Ln, North Olmsted, OH 44070). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to The American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org or The Friends of North Olmsted Library at ccplfoundation.org/donate.
