With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Samuel J. Mazzola Sr. of North Olmsted, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Samuel left this world on May 9, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Catherine "Kathie"; his children, Samuel Jr. (Pam), Laura Weiss (Jon), Michael (Shelly) and Colleen Mudore (Larry); his grandchildren, Amanda (Ryan), Leah, Nick (Elizabeth), Sarah, Morgan, Madison (David), Zach, Nolan, Abigail, Allison, Mason, Kylie and Mia; and his siblings, Casimera Dorenkott (late Robert), Rosemarie Lemieux, Russell (Nancy), Daniel (Susanne) and Donna (Nancy).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Sam's memory to a Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, The Malachi House or a charitable organization of your choice.

“Sam and Kathie were neighbors of ours in the Woods of Westlake for many years. The first neighborhood holiday gathering we attended was in 1988, and Sam and Kathie were so kind to us newcomers. That kindness continued when Sam's good friend John married our cousin Jo Ann. Any time we saw Sam, such as at St. Ladislas Church, he had a hug for Debbie and me. So good to have known such a fine man. Rest in peace. Please know, Kathie, that Sam will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Ron & Deb Charvat”
