She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Cartmill and Marilyn Cartmill; her spouse Thomas Whaling; and her son Mark. She is survived by: her children, Diane Ostang (Nicholas), Deborah Shubick (Nathan) and Michael Whaling (Holli); her brothers, James, William (Bambi) and Richard Cartmill (Lori); and her grandchildren, Samantha, Rebecca Ostang, Evan and Asa Whaling.
