He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Mattix and Amelia "Amy" Mattix; and his brothers, Dennis Mattix and Horace "Hal" Mattix. He is survived by: his wife Margie Mattix; his daughters, Samantha "Sam" Mattix (Josh Miller) and Cassandra "Cassie" Mattix (Tyler Stanton); his grandson Blake; his brothers, Richard Mattix (Sheila) and Charles Mattix; his nieces, Deborah (Troy), Colleen (Brian) and Nicole; and his great-nephews, Owen and Hunter.
