He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Salter; his parents, Charles Salter and Loretta Salter; his sister Monica Salter; and his nieces, Judy Salter and Aimee Pando.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Benetto (Tim) and Jon Salter (Tracey); his grandchildren, Holly Johnson (Vann), Richard Blevins, Ava and Natalie Salter; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Blevins, John and Elara Johnson; and his siblings, Charles Salter (Judy), Mark Salter (Debbie), Rita Yost (Randy) and Lori Deamon. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
