Nancy A. Franks Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy A. Franks of North Ridgeville, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Nancy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nancy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Plesko and Rose A. Plesko; and her son-in-law Gregory S. Lapsevich. She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Franks; her children, Ross Franks (Yun Eun Suk) of Rocky River and Wendy Lapsevich of Middleburg Heights; and her grandsons, Bradley Franks, Geoffrey Lapsevich and Wesley Lapsevich.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to either First Congregational United Church of Christ in North Ridgeville, or to the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in support of the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) and other prion diseases research (https://case.edu).
