He was predeceased by: his father Richard Matz; his stepfather Donald Skalak; his sister Susan Miller; and his brother-in-law John Chambers. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his son Ryan Matz; his mother Joan Skalak; his sisters, Barbara Jean Murphy (Mike), Julie Chambers and Nancy Steckel (Dave); his stepsiblings, Don Skalak (Cathy), Jeff Skalak (Diana) and Barbara Ann Allison (John); and his brother-in-law Scott Miller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
