He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his former wife Betty; his parents, Elmer Bennington and Esther Bennington; and his brother Martin Bennington.
He is survived by: his children, Nanette Hartman and Ronald Bennington; his stepchildren, Doug, Donna, Donald, Dean and David; and his siblings, Myrtle Bradley (Leroy), Richard (Faye), Ronald (Michele) and Tom Bennington (Jan). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
